Paul is originally from Toronto, Canada and currently lives in Fort Lauderdale, FL. He has enjoyed an interesting, stimulating journey in between, living in 5 other American cities and traveling to 44 different countries. Paul has worked in visual arts for his entire career. He started his career as a cinematographer for movies, music videos and documentaries in the US and Canada. His approach to photography was born from this experience: his photographs go beyond capturing a moment in time to also capture motion and emotion. Paul studied photography in Toronto, Chicago and San Francisco. He has been a member of the Stromberg Photography Group in Chicago and the Dischler Photo Workshops in Palo Alto, CA. His work has been displayed in the San Francisco area at the Triton Museum of Art, the Pacific Art League Gallery and Keeble & Shukat Photo Gallery, His work has received awards from Black & White Magazine (International Portfolio competition) and the Triton Museum of Art (2D Art competition). He has won numerous awards at the San Mateo Photo Exhibition, including Photographer of the Year. Currently he is an active member of Soho Photo Gallery in NYC.
